The meeting took place at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha and ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the Dutch. The winners included Memphis Depay (10th minute), Daley Blind (45+1), and Denzel Dumfries (81). The only goal for the Americans was scored by Hadji Wright (76).
The Netherlands national team became the first team to reach the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup. For reaching the semi-finals, the Dutch will compete on December 9 with the winner of the match Argentina – Australia, which will also be played on December 3.
