Spanish striker Diego Costa officially returned to the English Premier League on Monday.
The Wolverhampton club announced the contract with Costa for one season, subject to obtaining the international permit.
Costa’s move to Wolverhampton was in jeopardy after the initial application for his work permit was rejected by the Home Office in England.
But Wolverhampton’s appeal for Costa to be granted work permit in England was granted.
Diego Costa previously played for Chelsea from 2014 to 2017, before returning to Atletico Madrid.
Costa has been without a team since his departure from Brazil’s Atlético Mineiro, at the beginning of the current year 2022.
