Frank Lampard, a former player, and coach for Chelsea FC has been named technical director of the Blues until the end of the season to take over from Graham Potter.
Lampard, who went from being an iconic player for the club from 2001 to 2014, won the domestic league three times, and won the European Champions League in 2012 before becoming the club’s coach in 2018, will have to lead Chelsea, which is currently eleventh in the English Premier League, to one of the European qualifying positions.
Then again, the organization proceeds with its cautious and far-reaching work to track down a long-lasting mentor. According to some reports in the media, one of the duo—Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann—is the closest to taking over as Blues manager beginning next season. The fact that Chelsea is getting ready to play Real Madrid on Wednesday for the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals is interesting.
