Swiss winger Noah Okafor is reportedly on the verge of leaving Milan in the current winter transfer window, largely due to his limited appearances. Calciomercato reported that Okafor is set to travel to Germany today, Friday, to finalize his move to Leipzig. The report also mentioned that although Milan rejected Leipzig’s initial offer on Thursday, negotiations continued intensively and a positive outcome was eventually achieved.
The report indicated that Okafor has agreed to personal terms, and Leipzig will pay the player’s salary until June 30, with an option to buy him for €25 million.
Milan secured the Swiss winger’s services in the summer of 2022 from Red Bull Salzburg for a transfer fee of €15.5 million.
Calciomercato added, “After Okafor’s departure, Milan can shift their focus to securing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.”
