Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur returned to second place in the world rankings of women’s tennis players, which was released on Monday.
Anas Jaber jumped 3 positions in the classification, thanks to her reaching the final of the US Open, bringing her score to 5090 points.
On Sunday, Anas Jaber lost the US Open final in two groups without a response against Poland’s Eva Sviontik, who consolidated her position at the top of the rankings with 10,365 points.
And Anas Jaber had previously ranked second in the world on June 27 but lost it due to not counting points in the last Wimbledon Championships, in which the Tunisian champion reached the final as well.
In the same new classification, Egyptian tennis star Mayar El Sherif lost 11 places to 74th in the world.
It is worth noting that Anas Jaber ensured her participation in the final tournament of the season “Masters”, which records the attendance of the best 8 players in the Race classification.
