Tunisian Ons Jabeur expressed her great happiness at qualifying for the US Open final after defeating France’s Caroline Garcia, ranked 17th in the world, in two sets without a response (6-1), 6-3.
Ons said in a tweet to her on Twitter: “The finals .. see you tomorrow .. Ons Jabeur team”, accompanied by two pictures of her, and she is in the midst of her joy at the historic qualification.
Tomorrow, Ons will face the Polish world number one, Iga Swiwentek, in the final.
Ons became the seventh player to reach the Wimbledon and US Open finals in the same year since 2000, after the Americans Venus Williams, Lindsey Davenport, the Belgian Justin Henin, the Russian Vera Zvonareva, the American Serena Williams, and the German Angelique Kerber.
