Polish referee Szymon Marciniak has been appointed as the chief referee of the 2022 World Cup final between the national teams of Argentina and France, the official website of the Polish Football Federation reports.

His assistants at the match will be compatriots Pavel Sokolnitsky and Tomasz Listkevich, the fourth referee is Ismail Elfat (USA/Morocco), and the substitute is Katherine Nesbitt (USA).

VAR – Tomasz Kwiatkowski (Poland), AVAR – Juan Soto (Venezuela). OVAR – Kyle Atkins (USA).
Assistant Video Referee (CWAR) – Fernando Guerrero (Mexico). Reserve referee VAR – Bastian Dankert (Germany), reserve AVAR – Corey Parker (USA).

The 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and France will be held at the main stadium of the tournament, the Lusail Arena, on December 18, starting at 15.00 GMT.
