PSG show strength on home turf

After taking a narrow lead in London, PSG reached the Champions League final with a confident performance at home. Despite early pressure from Arsenal, including chances from Rice and Odegaard, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma kept the Parisians safe.

Fabian Ruiz broke the deadlock with a long-range strike after Arsenal failed to clear their lines. PSG continued to press, with Barcola and Kvaratskhelia threatening before halftime.

Hakimi seals the win

The second half saw Paris Saint-Germain control possession. Hakimi drew a handball inside the box in the 68th minute, but Vitinha’s penalty was saved by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.

Just minutes later, Hakimi made up for the miss with a well-placed finish to make it 2-0 on the night and 3-0 on aggregate. Although Arsenal pulled one back through Saka, they couldn’t find the equalizer.
