Villarreal announced on their official website that Quique Setien has been appointed as the head coach of the club.
Yellow Submarine signed an agreement with the 64-year-old Spanish specialist until the end of the 2023/24 season. Tomorrow he will have his first training session with the team.
Setien’s last club was Barcelona, which he managed in 2020.
Villarreal are 7th in the Spanish Liga with 18 points from 11 matches.
