Real Madrid announced today, Tuesday, the diagnosis of Lucas Vazquez, the winger of the team.
Real Madrid said, in a statement on its official website: “After the tests carried out by the club’s medical team on our player Lucas Vazquez… he was diagnosed with a gracilis muscle in the right thigh, and Vazquez’s recovery from the injury will be evaluated.”
Vazquez was injured during Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Mallorca, last Saturday, in the fifth round of the Spanish League.
“Los Blancos” lead the Spanish league standings, with 15 points, two points behind Barcelona, the runner-up.
Real Madrid is preparing to face Leipzig, tomorrow, Wednesday, in the second round of the group stage of the European Champions League.
Real Madrid is in second place with 3 points, with a goal difference from leaders Shakhtar Donetsk, while Leipzig comes in third without points.
