Real Madrid extended congratulations to their long-standing rival, Barcelona, on the occasion of the club’s 125th anniversary.
Real Madrid took to their official “X” account to extend their congratulations, writing: “Happy 125th anniversary. It is a true honor for Real Madrid to have shared the field with such a prestigious rival throughout our history.”
Barcelona will look to get back on track in La Liga as they host Las Palmas tomorrow in the 15th round. The Catalan club has struggled in their last two league matches, suffering a 0-1 defeat to Real Sociedad and settling for a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo.
Despite their recent setbacks, Barcelona still sits at the top of the La Liga table with 34 points, holding a 4-point lead over second-placed Real Madrid, who have a match in hand.
