Rodrygo doubled the lead in the 34th minute, finishing a brilliant backheel pass from Bellingham. Real Madrid ended the first half with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
Second Half Explosion
The second half of Real Madrid vs Red Bull Salzburg was all about Madrid. Mbappe capitalized on a goalkeeper mistake in the 48th minute to make it 3-0. Vinicius added a fourth in the 55th minute, collecting a pass from Modric and slotting it past the keeper.
In the 77th minute, Vinicius scored again, bringing the total to 5-0. His second goal came after a great pass from Fede Valverde, with Vinicius dribbling past defenders before finishing.
Salzburg’s Late Consolation
Salzburg found a consolation goal in the 85th minute. Bidstrup received a cross and scored with a volley. However, the late goal did little to change the outcome, as Real Madrid won comfortably, 5-1.
