Denmark striker Martin Braithwaite has signed a three-year contract with Espanyol Barcelona, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Earlier today, Barcelona announced the termination of Braithwaite’s contract.
The 31-year-old football player has been playing for the blue garnet since February 2020, moving to the Catalan camp from Leganes.
In total, the striker played 58 matches for Barça, scored 10 goals, and gave five assists.
Earlier in his career, Braithwaite played for French side Toulouse and Bordeaux, Danish side Esbjerg and English side Middlesbrough. Espanyol finished 14th in La Liga last season. This season the team has scored one point in three games. In the next match, the Catalans will meet “Athletic Bilbao”.
