Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi club Al-Nassr, shared the reasons behind his decision to join the Saudi Professional League.
Ronaldo made a significant impact on the Saudi League after joining Al-Nassr in early 2023, following the mutual termination of his contract with Manchester United. In the Saudi League documentary, Ronaldo stated: “They said I came here only for the money, but that’s not my concern. I’m still full of enthusiasm.”
“I still feel in great shape, and as long as people doubt Cristiano, I’m always ready to surprise them. So, don’t rush to judge the future,” he explained.
The Portuguese legend added, “I’m here to win. I came to claim titles, elevate Al-Nassr’s performance, develop the Saudi League, and shift the prevailing culture. I’m driven by success and glory—that’s my goal, and that’s why I came.”
Ronaldo continued, “I’m not someone who seeks advice, but I prefer my actions to reflect my principles. Look at what I’ve accomplished, then use your own judgment and follow your path.”
