The Russian defender of “Philadelphia” Ivan Provorov refused to participate in the action in support of the LGBT community before the NHL regular season match with “Anaheim” (5:2).
The hockey player did not go out on the ice to participate in the pre-match rollout, to which all his teammates came out in special “rainbow” sweaters.
Provorov took part in the match, spending 22 minutes and 45 seconds on the ice. The defender finished the game with a +1 utility indicator, made one shot on goal, and made one power move.
Recall, according to media reports, the defender has a conflict with the club’s management, which is dissatisfied with his game. Provorov could be traded before the transfer window closes this season.
