Klopp Hopes Salah Stays at Liverpool
In an interview with Sky Sports, Klopp expressed his wish for Salah to remain with the club, calling him “the greatest striker in Liverpool’s modern history.” He also praised Salah as a person, referring to him as “the best ambassador Egypt could have,” and emphasized his dedication as an athlete.
Klopp on Omar Marmoush’s Transfer Speculation
Klopp was also asked about Omar Marmoush, the Egyptian forward for Eintracht Frankfurt, and his rumoured move to Manchester City. While Klopp wasn’t sure how close Marmoush was to joining City, he praised the player’s talent, saying, “He’s a great player and will join a great club.”
Klopp Takes on New Role with Red Bull
Recently, Klopp took on a new role as the head of global football at Red Bull, overseeing clubs like RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg. He clarified that he has no plans to become a coach for any Red Bull teams, stating, “I will not be a coach for any Red Bull club,” though he left open the possibility of returning to coaching in the future.
