Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is reportedly pushing for his compatriot Omar Marmoush, the Eintracht Frankfurt forward, to join the Reds in the near future.
Omar Marmoush has been linked with several European giants recently, following his impressive performances for Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Egyptian forward has delivered remarkable stats this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in just 16 matches across all competitions.
According to the German newspaper Bild, Mohamed Salah supports the idea of Omar Marmoush joining Liverpool and is encouraging the club to make the move.
The report highlighted Marmoush’s tactical flexibility, which aligns well with Liverpool’s style of play, making him a strong potential addition to the squad.
However, it noted that Bayern Munich is unlikely to compete with Liverpool for Marmoush’s signature, as Eintracht Frankfurt has set a high price tag of €60 million for the Egyptian forward.
It’s worth mentioning that Salah’s contract with Liverpool is set to expire at the end of the current season, while Marmoush remains under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until the summer of 2027.
