The match of the 5th round of the Champions League group stage has ended, in which the Spanish Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pisjuan stadium hosted the Danish Copenhagen.
The meeting ended with the victory of the home team with a score of 3:0.
Spectators had to wait for a goal for more than an hour – in the 61st minute of the match, Youssef En-Nesiri opened the scoring after the transfer of Alejandro Gomez. At the end of the meeting, Isco and Gonzalo Montiel brought the score to devastating. The chief referee of the match, Benoit Bastien, showed four yellow cards: Spanish players Eric Lamela and Gonzalo Montiel received warnings, and Victor Klasson and Christian Sørensen were warned by the Danes.
At the end of the match, Copenhagen player David Khocholava was sent off.
It should be noted that in the group stage of the Champions League the teams have not yet won – Sevilla, thanks to this result, scored five points and strengthened the third position. Copenhagen rounded out Group G with two points, which also included Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
