Liverpool manager Arne Slot has assessed the club’s prospects of securing Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the ongoing winter transfer window.
Addressing rumors about Liverpool’s interest in signing Kvaratskhelia this month, Slot commented during a press conference on Friday, “It’s January, and most of what you hear isn’t accurate—99% of it, in fact.”
He further noted, “These kinds of rumors will persist.”
Recent media reports have suggested that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is close to leaving Napoli, with Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain among the clubs reportedly interested in the 23-year-old Georgian winger.
Sources have also indicated that Napoli officials have set an asking price of 80 million euros for the talented player.
Kvaratskhelia, who joined Napoli in the summer of 2022 from Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia, has quickly become a key figure in the team’s attack.
