In Stockholm, at the Tele 2 Arena, the final match of the Men’s World Handball Championship – 2023 between the national teams of France and Denmark ended. The victory with a score of 34:29 was won by the Danes, who became the owners of gold medals.
Rasmus Schmidt, central defender of the Danish national team, scored 10 goals in the match.
The Danes win their third World Cup in a row. They previously made it to gold in 2019 and 2021. The unbeaten streak of the Danish national team at the world championship already has 28 matches.
