When Ezekiel Elliott first started playing in the NFL, he was one of the best running backs in the league for the Dallas Cowboys.
Sadly, Elliott has lost one or two steps over the past few seasons.
A sad development for the former Ohio State Buckeyes star is that league scouts say Elliott has nothing left in his legs.
According to Bob Sturm’s writing, “I believe he has one option for employment above the league minimum, and it is right here in Dallas.” Even if I am wrong, it is a very small number. It’s a far cry from what he’s used to, maybe one year for $2 million or $2.5 million.
The development saddens NFL followers.
Is it time for Elliott to leave the Cowboys?
Dallas’ offseason is shaping up to be another interesting one.
