Milan finally pulled one back in the 80th minute. Pulisic took advantage of an excellent run from Theo Hernández and a cross to comfortably place the ball past Sommer, bringing the score to 2-2.

Inter nearly regained the lead when Dumfries had a great follow-up shot from a corner kick, but it went over the crossbar. Moments later, Dumfries squandered another chance in a one-on-one situation after Fratzi missed the first ball. Dumfries’ second shot was brilliantly saved by Maignan.

Milan delivered the final blow in the 90+3 minute. Leão, showing brilliance again, received a pass from Ninoy and, as goalkeeper Sommer rushed out, passed it to Tammy Abraham, who was unmarked in front of an empty goal. Abraham calmly slotted the ball into the net, clinching the Super Cup title for Milan in Riyadh and giving coach Sergio Conceição his first major achievement just days after his appointment.
