Today, November 30, the 3rd and final round of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar took place, in which the French team played with Tunisia. The teams met at the Education City Stadium in Ryan.
The starting whistle of the chief referee Matthew Conger sounded at 15:00 GMT.
The first half of the meeting was dominated by Tunisia, who had less possession of the ball, but more often hit on goal – four attempts, of which two were on target. France only possessed the ball and tried to prevent any goal attempts by the opponent and hardly thought about their attacks.
In the second half, the situation continued, and as a result, the advantage of Tunisia was realized in the form of a goal scored. In the 58th minute, striker Wahbi Khazri scored, who ran from the middle of the field to the penalty area and rolled the ball low into the far corner. After that, Tunisia went on the defensive and played on the counterattack.
In the 90+8th minute, Antoine Griezmann equalized and seemed to bring his team a draw. However, later the goal was canceled after the final whistle, and Tunisia eventually won – 1:0.
