The Turkish Football Federation has donated 20 million lire to the victims of the earthquake.
On Monday morning, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.8 hit Turkey. According to the latest data, 2316 people died, another 13293 people were injured.
“Our hearts beat with our brothers and sisters who are currently being pulled from the rubble or are waiting to be pulled out. The thoughts of all Turkey are about those who are suffering today.
We are launching our charity campaign and donating 20 million lire. We believe that together we will heal the wounds of this earthquake, which was one of the greatest disasters our country has faced in recent times.
We invite all members of our national teams, clubs, and their leaders, all our players, coaches, referees, fans to support our campaign with donations,” the Turkish Football Federation said in a statement.
