Victoria Azarenka defeated Marta Kostyuk of Ukraine in the second-round match of the US Open.
After the game, instead of the traditional handshake, the tennis players only exchanged racket touches.
The match ended with a score of 6:2, and 6:3 in favor of a tennis player from Belarus.
Azarenka in the third round match will meet with the winner of the match Paula Badosa (Spain) – Petra Martic (Croatia).
Earlier, Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova was unable to qualify for the third round of the US Open.
