Manchester City is on the verge of losing one of their key players in the upcoming winter transfer window, as his involvement has significantly decreased this season.
The player in question is English right-back Kyle Walker, who has been with Manchester City since his transfer from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017.
As reported by the British newspaper Mirror, Walker is intent on leaving the Etihad Stadium next January, despite having a contract that runs until June 2026.
The England international is exploring all potential options for his next move, despite earlier speculation linking him with a return to Sheffield United, the club where he started his career.
However, several top clubs are now showing interest in the 34-year-old, including Milan.
Walker may be inclined to delay a move back to Sheffield United, particularly after the club’s relegation from the Premier League last season.
The experienced defender has played in 17 matches across all competitions this season, while missing out on 11 others.
