It was confirmed that Paul Pogba, the Italian star of Juventus, will not participate with the French national team in the World Cup (Qatar 2022).

And Pogba’s agent announced on the French channel TF1 that Paul Pogba will not join the French national team due to injury.

The French star suffered a knee injury early last summer, after moving from Manchester United to Juventus, in a free transfer deal.

The injury forced Pogba to undergo surgery before other press reports indicated that the player had suffered from muscle pain that would keep him away for 3 weeks.

The absence of Paul Pogba is a major blow to France coach Didier Deschamps, who will also be deprived of the services of Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, due to injury.

France will start the campaign to defend the World Cup title, by playing in Group D, along with Denmark, Australia, and Tunisia.
