Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to take charge of the Brazilian national team, according to ESPN Brazil.
According to the source, the 63-year-old specialist will leave the Madrid club in the summer of 2023 and sign a contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) until the end of the 2026 World Cup in America.
It is reported that the parties will not yet publicly confirm the deal. The details of the contract are still being discussed.
The Brazilian national team was left without a coach after the departure of Tite. The 61-year-old has announced his resignation after losing 1-1, 2-4 on penalties to Croatia in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He has led the team since 2016.
