The FIFA press service has announced the names of the finalists of the fan vote for the award for the best coach at the end of 2022.
The contenders for the honorary prize were Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni, Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti and Josep Guardiola of Manchester City. The winner will be announced on February 27 at the awards ceremony in Paris (France).
Three finalists were determined by voting with the participation of the head coaches and captains of the national teams, media representatives, and fans.
Recall, Lionel Scaloni in December led the Argentina national team to the world title. Carlo Ancelotti took the Champions League and La Liga trophies with the Royal Club last season. Josep Guardiola won gold medals in the English Premier League with Manchester City. For the “citizens”, this championship was the sixth in the last ten years.
