Andres Espinosa, the agent representing Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, has confirmed that Juventus are keen on signing his client. Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Espinosa revealed, “Ronaldo received several offers in January, with the most significant one coming from Juventus. However, he hasn’t made a final decision yet as he prioritizes Barcelona.”
Apart from Juventus, Arsenal are also showing strong interest in Araujo, and the player has openly expressed to his Barcelona teammates that he is intrigued by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
It’s important to mention that Ronaldo has been sidelined since the start of the season due to a thigh tendon injury, which has kept him out of action since last summer. He only returned to training in December.
Meanwhile, Araujo was not featured in Barcelona this season until January 4, when he came back as a starter in the Spanish King’s Cup match against Barbastro.
