Pedri, the young star of FC Barcelona, was injured in the first leg of the European League knockout round against Manchester United at Camp Nou. FC Barcelona announced the nature of the injury.
In exchange for Sergi Roberto’s entry, Pedri left the stadium after falling on the field in the 40th minute. He was unable to finish the game and left the stadium.
Through its official Twitter account, Barcelona stated, “Pedri suffered an injury in the right thigh.” In order to precisely determine the extent of the injury, the player will undergo additional medical examinations.”
According to the newspaper “Sport,” Pedri requested a substitution before the end of the first half due to discomfort in the right leg’s thigh muscles.
After finishing fifth behind Real Sociedad, Manchester United was the only team that qualified for this position.
After finishing third in its Champions League group, Barcelona participated in the European League.
