The European Football Association (UEFA) announced today, Sunday, the referees for the matches of the second round of the group stage of the European Champions League.
And “UEFA” indicated, in a statement on its official website, the appointment of Dutchman Danny Makele, aged 39, to manage the match between Bayern Munich and Barcelona, next Tuesday, and he will be accompanied by Hessel Stegstra and Jan of Fries.
Makelele stood behind the goal line in the match between Real and Paris Saint-Germain, in the second leg of the 16th round of last year’s edition, which ended with Meringue winning 3-1.
Barcelona won the first round match against Viktoria Plzen (4-1), while Bayern defeated Inter (2-0).
