Borussia Dortmund secured a 3-1 victory over hosts Wolfsburg in the 15th round of the German League.
At the Volkswagen Arena, Borussia Dortmund took control with three goals in quick succession from Donyell Malen (25th minute), Maximilian Pierre (28th minute), and Julian Brandt (30th minute).
Denis Favreau pulled one back for Wolfsburg in the 58th minute, but it wasn’t enough to mount a comeback.
Despite playing with ten men from the 62nd minute due to Pascal Gross’ red card, Borussia Dortmund held on to secure a 3-1 victory.
This win ended a run of three consecutive draws for the team.
With the three points, Borussia Dortmund moved up to 25 points, occupying sixth place, while Wolfsburg remained at 21 points in eleventh place.
