With this victory, Lazio moved up to 31 points, sitting in fifth place, just three points behind leaders Atalanta, and one point behind second-place Napoli. The defeat left Napoli stranded on 32 points, unable to reclaim first place after Atalanta’s 2-1 win over Milan.
The match’s only goal came in the 79th minute, when Gustav Isaksson struck for Lazio, sealing all three points for the visitors.
