Liverpool is reportedly weighing up a potential move for Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the January transfer window.
According to The Athletic, Liverpool are considering whether to make a move for the 23-year-old Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The report further states that the lack of progress in contract extension talks has sparked interest from leading clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation of Georgian international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, despite already having Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo, both of whom can play on his preferred left-hand side. The report also notes that while the Reds admire the Napoli star, they are not actively pursuing the Barcelona-linked player at this stage.
With a contract at Napoli lasting until 2027, Kvaratskhelia has made 107 appearances for the club, scoring 30 goals and assisting 29 times.
Amidst transfer rumors, Kvaratskhelia is expected to feature for Napoli in their upcoming Serie A match at home against Verona on Sunday.
