Marseille ended the match with ten men after defender Samuel Gigot was sent off. The former Spartak football player received a direct red card in the 72nd minute.
Paris Saint-Germain are leading the French league with 29 points in 11 matches. Marseille have six points less and are currently in fourth place in the table.
