Manchester United winger Anthony has expressed his great respect for fellow Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo and vowed to learn from him as much as possible.
Anthony said, in an interview with the official website of Manchester United: “I came to help my team-mates, regardless of age, there is tremendous talent in all the players.”
He added: “Words cannot describe Cristiano, he is the best in the world, in just a few days, I learned a lot from him, he has an extraordinary mentality, and whenever I talk to him, I benefit from him a lot.”
He continued, “I’m sure we have a strong attack, which is very promising for the future.”
The former Ajax winger also pledged to continue to delight the fans after his positive start against Arsenal and scored a goal in his first appearance with the team.
“I’m really getting used to things here,” he explained. “Entertainment is something I’ve always loved and will continue to do.”
And Anthony moved to Manchester United, during the last summer Mercato, from Ajax Amsterdam, in a deal worth about 100 million euros.
