Sadio Mane wins the first Socrates award in history

Bayern forward Sadio Mane is the first ever winner of the Socrates Prize. This award began to be presented in 2022 for social activities.

Recall that the 30-year-old striker has repeatedly assisted in the development of Senegal and his native village.

By the way, Socrates is a Brazilian football player who died in 2011. The prize was named after him as he actively fought against the military regime in Brazil.
