Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag has confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo’s full commitment to his project at Old Trafford.
The 37-year-old experienced difficulties at the beginning of the current season, especially after his absence from the preparation period, to give Tin Hag some minutes in the matches, while he mainly relied on him only 3 times.
Ronaldo scored his first goal this season, today, Thursday, and contributed to the victory over Moldovan Sheriff (2-0) in the second round of the European League.
During statements highlighted by the Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag said of Ronaldo’s difficulties, “It was expected after his absence from the preparation period.”
“He had to work as hard as he could to get back in shape, and now he’s on his way to scoring more goals.”
“He is really close, and when he improves more physically, he will score more goals.”
