Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez met with Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, on Tuesday evening, at a conference organized by the Spanish Football Federation.
According to Radio Kobe, the affection dominated the reception of coaches Xavi and Ancelotti, as they did in the Las Vegas friendly before the start of the season.
During the conference, David Gutierrez, President of the Coaches Association, spoke about some of the coaches’ points, the rules that must be adhered to during matches, and the protest against the referees.
The most prominent absentees from the conference were Diego Simeone, coach of Atletico Madrid, and Julen Lopetegui, coach of Seville.
El Clasico, the first round of La Liga between Real Madrid and Barcelona, is scheduled to take place on October 16, at the Santiago Bernabeu, the stronghold of Real Madrid.
